a bit late but pirates of the caribbean rawks! i was quite sceptical and thot it was juz another pirates movie. but now i wish i am a pirate! *err...not dat pirated vcd kind* captain Jack Sparrow (johnny depp) stole every scene he's in with his witty lines. hilarious manerisms, and a really unique character was created through his performance. and not forgetting geoffry rush as Barbossa, who i like too, in a perverted older man sort of way. heh. orlando bloom melts my heart...but his character as will turner, is a bit bland.

Barbossa: thank you, Jack.
Jack: you're welcome.
Barbossa: Not you, we named the monkey Jack.

Jack: a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest, honestly. it's the honest ones you have to watch out for. you can never tell when they're going to do something incredibly...stupid.

Soldier: i never would have thought of that.
Jack: clearly you've never lived in Singapore.
