i awoke this morning wif some pains down the middle of my back and my shoulders that i attributed to muscle pains resulting from heavy lifting of the epson printer from sls to the nearest bus stop yesterday. it was damn BULKY...pheww...it was torturous enuff boarding bus #23 and the bus was packed. fortunately passengers were understanding and one even offered me a seat. babar scolded me why i didnt give him a call to help me carry the printer home....and he volunteered to wait for me at tampines bus interchange since im already on my way to tampines. *nih lah...nak act terer...heh*

anyway the pain was not a "lightning-bolt" type of pain, but more of a dull deep ache...sort of like being hit by a hammer right at the edge of my shoulder blades near my spine. and then there's the stomach cramp which i have to endure for an hour. =/ i crashed out in the afternoon after fixing both printers. i had some intense weird dreams juz now...cant remember but it was very weird. always got them on my afternoon naps. the ache's have mostly disappeared now. anyway the hp printer is working properly in the win95 os and my new epson printer is working wonderfully too without any glitch. i still have slight a shoulder and back ache, but i can deal with it.

i had juz figured out how to add a new wallpaper for my pda this morning. im using amin's cute, cute pixxies. will add in other pixxies later. yippeee. i'll be changing host in the next few days with more space and cheaper values...i hope. it will be another rushy-rushy week for me cos i got to buy the printer later....meet up wif 2 of my clients tmr or friday. prepare all my printing stuffs by tomorrow. and the fotoshoot this thursday. phew. and start on that geylang serai proj hopefully by wednesday.

it's finally over. the esculpture site which is commissioned by the nlb. everyone presented the stuffs which were supposed to be shown this morning. im glad that we did the rehearsal and stayed till 9pm yesterday to discuss what to present. it helped tremendously.

but me, as usual, though how calm i was before a presentation...had to suffer from stage fright when i had to present my part to the lecturers. i was basically fumbling on my words but managed to make them understand. i guess that was enuff. phew...what a nerve-wrecking experience. and i had 1 more final presentation this 6th may. and after that everything, and i mean, everything will be over. a bit disappointed though cos we are not going to have fusion.

we made this a daily ritual. it's fun and you shud try it. ;)

looks like im going to have a very busy weekend. busier than the usual busy. you know wat i mean. i have to finish my demoreel + website + namecard + booth design by munday.....final review is this tuesday. mendaki's going to start tomorrow and im going to get a printer and scanner at sls this sunday. ok, mebbe not this weekend....perhaps on wednesday after esculpture is done. the esculpture's website is also due next week. suddenly everything's piling down onto me at the same time. suddenly i cant breathe. and suddenly i need to go to the toilet now. heh.

pls clear your throat when you speak. thanx. it reminds me of the old apek who juz coughed behind me on my way home yesterday.

i went for a photografy shoot yesterday in geylang serai. trying to get people to talk about their experiences in the geylang serai's wet market. i had to be thick-skinned enough to ask strangers...what makes the wet market of geylang serai so special. fortunately mi was there to volunteer to ask the questions. heh. and yeah, we did get some makciks to talk to us. he also brought his g3 along to take some pix of the wet market scene.

oh yah, mi's band, radiumrags, is here...drawings pretty nicely done. and my sis's kinda songs.

everyone's getting paranoid wif the SARS thingie going ard. and the doctors are still not sure wat's the main cause of this. and i really hated if someone starts coughing and sneezing behind me while im sitting in the bus. and i dunno why these people cant make an effort to cover their mouths while sneezing/coughing. i was on my way to skool this morning, and suddenly an old man sneezed loudly juz behind me. i ignored it. he sneezed again...loudly. i told myself that if he's gonna sneeze the 3rd time, im going to shift myself to another seat. and he did....i stood up and sat elsewhere. its kinda rude...but i wouldnt want to take the chance. and i dun wanna sound racist here...but hey, cant THEY control themselves from spitting all over the place and sneezing/coughing like nobody's business?!

after weeks of "investigation", i found out that he likes someone else. *heart pain liao* i wun waste my time anymore...time to move to a greener pasture. and my palm had to walk out on me this morning in the bus while i tried listenin to some mp3s. i had to reformat the palm in order for it to be working again. 8/ fortunately a fren called while i was "stoning" in de bus, listening to the blaring of tvmobile on the war in iraq...and i forgot my misery for a while. i'm no angel, but please don't think that I won't try and try...i'm no angel, but does that mean that I can't live my life...

adi told everyone in de lab that nyp's gonna close down mcDonald's temporarily due to the SARS thingie. but it turned out that it's only going to be closed to the public starting from tomorrow. so no more school children coming to our skool. as one of de SARS precautionary measures, all labs are gonna be closed at 6pm on weekdays and 12:30pm on Saturdays...including our fyPj lab. aarrgggh...now we cant stay back at skool.

if they're gonna close everything after 6pm, they might as well close the entire nYp. or mebbe they thot that SARS are active only after 6pm. wtfish.

i juz hope that my home pc can tahan all de "abuses" from me for this last few months before i graduate.

Managed to watch "one hour photo" starring robin williams. a psycho-drama, almost creepy and consistently compelling.... this is one movie that i would strongly recommend to you who hasnt watched it. robin williams acted as sy, a foto developer. his character is one of the most complex characters ive seen for quite some time. sometimes he's sympathised, sometimes he's so creepy...almost like hannibal in silence of the lambs. now i tink i'd better stop sending in embarassing fotos to the developer. heh.

i finally solved the actionscript prob i have with my portfolio site wif the help of omerry yesterday. so tonite i'm goin to finish the site up...and start on the demoreel. 3weeks more before we had to present our portfolio stuffs. haizz...dunno if i can finish it. but today, me, toots and ratz spare a few minutes to savour the durian cakes my mum made yesterday. we were practically chewing slowly the cakes to relish the durian taste in our mouths. how heavenly. mcm amin...*click for bigger pic*

nurul and udin was at my house when i got home yesterday. a pleasant surprise cos it's been long since i saw them and i missed them lots. emak also bought some durians...yummy~ babar wasnt interested in the durians...and my sis was far too absorbed on the fone. so me and emak had a fun time in the kitchen eating the durians.

didnt do much for the last couple of days except i have been going ard town to shoot some of the sculptures with weena and huiQi. and my thighs are killing me. i gotta finish so many things by this week...the mockups for mDg and aVi, screen layouts for eSculpture...fortunately gB's helping me wif that shopping cart cos i know nuts about it even though i stared hard enuff at the codes. mebbe i shud learn it from isz..since she's done it before. hmm....8B
