having a compatible sense of humor with me is more difficult than it sounds. i know i'm a geek, and an old-style one at that. *ethan (now known as irah's hubby) sometimes call me by my irc nick, geekgal...hoho* It's not that I have a sophisticated sense of humor, although I'm mostly past the poop-is-intrinsically-funny stage. There are a lot of I-Juz-Don't-Get-jokes. given that jokes are based on common knowledge...well, I laugh a lot at things that I know are supposed to be funny. It's good exercise for my diaphragm muscles or something. and for relief. especially after 5 different design layouts i have to do last nite.
